Congratulations on the new addition to your family! The parish community of Saint Ann looks forward to welcoming your child into our family when you present him or her for Baptism.
Getting Started:
To start the process of preparing for your baby's Baptism, fill out this form and return it to the parish office at [email protected]. But, first, continue reading for important information!
Request for BaptismSaint Ann Parish requires three things in order to baptize your baby:
- Your family must be registered members of Saint Ann Parish;
- First time parents are required to complete this online Baptism Certification Course through Ascension Press. Upon completion, the certificate/s need to be forwarded to the parish office: https://ascensionpress.
com/products/belonging- baptism-in-the-family-of-god- certification-course?variant= 32152574197796 - You must furnish proof that the sponsors (godparents) you have chosen for your child meet the canonical requirements (See below for more information).
Setting the Date:
Once these requirements are met, we can set the date. Baptisms are celebrated in Saint Ann Chapel the second Sunday of the month at 1:00 pm.About Sponsors:
Together with the parents, the sponsor presents a child for baptism and helps the child to live a Christian life befitting the baptized and helps him or her fulfill the duties inherent in baptism. In choosing a person to be a sponsor, parents express a desire that they want their child to be influenced by the faith and life of this Christian. Choose carefully!To be a sponsor, one must be:
- A baptized Catholic who has been confirmed and has already received the sacrament of the Most Holy Eucharist;
- Registered in a parish;
- At least 16 years old;

- If married, married in the church or with the blessing of the church.
Catholic sponsors must submit a Certificate of Eligibility signed by their pastor attesting that they are registered members who practice their faith. Please allow 3-4 weeks for processing.
